Roller Derby Comic- TMI edition

I really struggled with putting something so personal up on the internet. But I've been listening to a lot of TED talks recently about the need for connectivity and the power of vulnerability, so I figured, why not. I was also really blown away by Hyperbole and a Half's latest post, and really admire her honesty. After all, why create art if not to bare your soul from time to time?

Thanks so much for sharing how you really feel. I hope things get better for you, and that you really will "be" strong instead of just "feeling" strong. I'm trying to be more honest and transparent on my blog as well, but it's a struggle. Thanks for being so brave.

Thanks for your vulnerability. I'm learning that sharing our sadnesses actually helps create connections and helps ease our way.

For me, the honesty and authenticity in other people's blogs makes it more bearable to be the human I am. I loved Hyperbole and a Half's post, too, and I have showed it to as many people as I can.

I'm so sorry that building your family hasn't gone the way you wanted or dreamed or expected.
